(One part of a 10 part series about why you don’t “Have it ALL” yet in your life. Find out what’s standing between you and a successful, fulfilling life.)
When someone asks you how you are, do you answer with the standard “fine?” Or even “good?”
Take a second and think about it.
What’s the real answer to the question “How are you?”
How’s your life? Is it the life you thought you envisioned when you were younger?
Do you have that sense of fulfillment, the feeling of purpose, that you are making a difference in this world?
Or are you just going through the motions? Just working to make it through another day?
You might even be so good at telling others that your life is “fine,” or “good,” that you believe it yourself.
It’s actually a coping mechanism. Because no one wants to believe that they are living a sub-par life.
And what happened to that drive to live a great life?
The life where you are engaged at work, loving what you do, and getting compensated for the value you bring…
The life that has you connected with great relationships to your family and friends…
Living healthy, fit, and happy…
Even if you did want that life again, wouldn’t you get down on yourself, because you think it’s so far away?
That’s why it’s easier to go back to “fine” and “good.” I really don’t blame you.
But what if it’s not as far away as you think it is?
What if there are easy shifts you can make in your own life that can have a huge effect?
I’m here to tell you that there are.
Where does it start though? It starts by figuring out where you’re at right now.
Which you can discover by taking this quiz.
