(One part of a 10 part series about why you don’t “Have it ALL” yet in your life. Find out what’s standing between you and a successful, fulfilling life.)
If I were to ask you what “Having it ALL” looks like to you, what would be your answer?
The common answers are to make a certain amount of money, lose a certain amount of weight, or buy something like a new house, boat, or car.
Now I’m going to ask you, when you just graduated from college or were in your early / mid-20’s, what was on your list to “Have it ALL”?
It was probably to make a certain amount of money (which you have already surpassed.)
Get married (which you may have done already as well, and might even be divorced.)
Buy your first house, car, etc. (again which has been checked off.)
So if they were your goals then, and you achieved them, then why do you think that by chasing the goals you have now that it’s going to finally make you happy?
That kind of thinking keeps you in the mode of always “waiting” to be happy.
Which is a difficult way to go through life.
There is a way to be happy right now, while also having goals.
The cool thing is when you do make that shift, you become much more successful.
I know that may be hard to believe. But it’s true.
